Conditions of Delivery

Addresses
We will always make our best efforts to deliver your order to the address you provide. It is very important that you provide correct delivery details – where incorrect delivery information has been provided we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect, failed, or non-delivery. Please also provide additional instructions for difficult to find addresses. In some cases, the courier will need to call the recipient to confirm details and co-ordinate delivery to ensure the goods are received on the date intended.
Delivery Protocol
It is our priority to deliver your order in person to the intended recipient. However, where delivery is made to a business, the flowers may be delivered to reception, or the mail room. For hospitals, deliveries should go to the bedside, but some hospitals only accept delivery at reception or a nurses desk. For residential deliveries when no one is at home to accept delivery our couriers are instructed to leave the flowers at the doorstep where it is safe to do so (out of sight from the road, and out of the weather). If you have any specific requests, or if you do not give authority for us to leave the order where the recipient is not present please indicate this in the special delivery instructions.
Same Day Delivery
Place your order by 12 Noon for same day delivery unless fully booked out. For orders after 12 Noon ring us to confirm if we can deliver same day or next day. If we are unable to deliver on the same day for orders received after 12 Noon, we will deliver on the next day except Sundays. We are closed for deliveries on Sundays and our shop front is closed. On other occasions, we are closed for deliveries the next day due to public holidays etc. If we are not delivering on the next day your order will be delivered on the day after the next day.
Delivery Days
We deliver flowers, plants and gifts on Mondays to Saturdays. We are closed for deliveries on Sundays and other limited days such as when at capacity or some public holidays, Our Shop Front is also closed on Sundays. When deliveries are closed for specific days, that delivery date will not be available for selection in our online shop.
Times
Deliveries are normally in the afternoon. We do not promise delivery by a requested time. We will endeavour to deliver your order at a specific delivery time if requested, however this cannot be guaranteed. Actual delivery times will depend on daily orders and delivery routes. We will make every effort to deliver to schools before 3pm, businesses before 5pm, and residential addresses before 7pm. Please be aware that due to factors outside of our control (such as considerable traffic delays), our couriers may need to contact the recipient to get a forwarding address to ensure delivery on the intended day.

Substitution Policy

Our Substitution Policy
Sometimes substitution is necessary to guarantee top quality On occasion it may be necessary to substitute some or all of the flowers used in your arrangement or bouquet. This may be due to a number of factors that are not possible to predict, like local flower or colour availability. Seasonal availability can also mean some flower types may vary from those displayed in some of the images on our website. We will always go out of our way to try and source the flowers that you want, but this is not always possible. The gift wrapping & packaging may also vary from what is pictured on the website. If a substitution is required we will make every effort to contact you and inform you before delivery. However, in the course of arranging delivery of your special message, this may not always be possible and we may go ahead with the substitution without notifying you in order to prevent delays. In the case of a substitution we guarantee to always substitute flowers of equal or higher value, and will keep with the theme of the flowers originally chosen, ensuring your message to the recipient is not lost.

Returns and Refunds

Our professional florists prepare beautiful fresh flowers and work hard to ensure you and the recipient are delighted with the arrangements we prepare and deliver. Please contact us immediately in the rare circumstance that you are not happy with your flowers so that we can rectify any errors or oversights. In most cases we will refund your purchase or provide replacement flowers due to our error or oversight depending on the circumstances. Products sold on this website are a perishable, natural item and flowers life span is dependent on species, resulting in some flower varieties living longer than others. Flowers are a product of nature; availability is dependent on season and markets. As a result, not all goods produced are as pictured on www.www.figandbloom.com, by accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.
You can generally expect your flowers to last from 5 days provided they are cared for correctly. 5 main steps will help your flowers last as long as possible:
1. Stems should be cut on an angle (in or under running water if possible) as soon as you receive the flowers
2. If a vase is used, ensure the it is clean and filled with fresh water
3. Always keep an eye on the water levels and if in a vase, change the water completely every two days. If in a box with floral foam, check moisture levels every 1 to 2 days and add a small amount of water if required to ensure the foam is moist – don’t overwater.
4. Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight
5. Keep the flowers away from drafts and air-conditioning
If you feel the flowers have not lasted for at least five days let us know within this time by calling (03) 9052 4607. Once we are confident that they have been cared for as recommended, we will happily replace the flowers. Please note that we may firstly request a photo of the flowers and can only replace them if we are able to pick up the old flowers at the same time as we deliver the replacements. We are always available on (03) 9052 4607, to answer any of your concerns or questions regarding the care of your flowers.
